Day 01 : Delhi - Aurangabad (Flight, Dep. At 1750 – 1935 Hours)

Day 02 : In Aurangabad

Morning full day excursion to Ajanta Caves. These Buddhist caves date back to 200 BC to 650 AD, 166 km northeast of Aurangabad. There are 29 caves in a horseshoe shaped rock gorge. The Ajanta paintings are beautiful and artistically executed. There are many interesting sculptures in these caves. Ellora Caves, about 30 km from Aurangabad. Unlike Ajanta, the caves of Ellora were built over 5 centuries and have been influenced in succession by Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism. In all, there are 34 caves: 12 Buddhist, 17 Hindu, and 5 Jain. The ultimate masterpiece here is the Kailash Temple (cave 16) dedicated to Lord Siva. It is the world’s largest monolithic sculpture, hewn from the living rock by 7000 labourers over a 150-year period.

Day 03 : Aurangabad – Delhi (Flight, Dep. 1740 – Arr. 1930 Hours)

Morning at leisure.
Late afternoon transfer to Aurangabad airport to board flight for Delhi.
